Following his disqualification from Race 1 of the season finale at Donington Park in October for exceeding the engine output regulations, Sam Smith has since had his engine stripped by the championship’s eligibility scrutineer Chris Baker at Sam’s workshop in Norfolk. Following a thorough inspection, it was found that all parts of Smith’s engine complied with the technical regulations.
